“ I can't believe I have not left a review for La Cai Noodle House. I have enjoyed their cooking countless times. It is a family favorite. The food is consistently top-notch, prices are reasonable. Service is outstanding. Some favorites are the Pho Brisket, the brisket is always tender and the broth is wonderful. Their egg rolls are exceptional, you can't go wrong with vermicelli noodles chicken and egg roll. UT is a big meal and always delicious. The dining room is clean, comfortable with some great booths for privacy and comfort. La Cai is also amazing for takeout. They use quality containers and package the food perfectly. So, we keep going back, I ate there over 30 times in 2024 and will be going back again and again. ”

“ La Cai Noodle House offers a delightful lunch that tastes amazing for a decent price. The service is always fast and friendly. Their lettuce wraps are crunchy and bursting with flavor. It's served with a side of hoisin sauce, and has four pieces of lettuce for you to share with your table. The Crab Rangoon is served crispy and with a side of sweet and sour sauce. They are by far my favorite appetizers, and I could eat a whole serving of Crab Rangoon by myself. If you prefer sweet and salty flavors, dip the Crab Rangoon in the sweet and sour sauce and then pour some soy sauce! It's an amazing flavor! The lunch menu has delicious options for the main course, and you get to pick two sides. I chose egg drop soup and ham fried rice, and both were wonderful! The ambiance is elegant and upbeat. They have tables to accommodate parties of any size. The best place to sit is in the semi-private booths on the east side of the dining area. ”

“ My roommate introduced me to this wonderful gem! You must get the crispy egg roll. It's enormous and one of the best appetizers I've ever had! I love the chicken with flat noodle, and the crab Rangoons are a definite hit. Everyone is so so nice and they have cute booths that are tucked into the wall for your own little dining room experience. This place has been packed anytime I've come, a sign of a great eatery! ”

“ I go in for the eggrolls. They are always meal themselves, and unforgettable. I've never been disappointed with a fish ordered here. We've tried them all. I'm not much a pho consumer but the vietnamese bun are all fantastic as are ask the dishes in the chinese menu. ”

“ This is *hands down* THE BEST phở in the area. I can clean out an entire bowl of the rare beef and brisket soup if I come extra hungry. Every bite is incredible. The vibes are immaculate. Everyone is kind and happy to help. Give the phở a go - you will not be disappointed. Add the toppings they bring, obviously ;) Fresh and tasty every time! ”

“ Solid options for a sit down Chinese restaurant seem to be few and far between. Has a very clean and friendly atmosphere, recommend sitting in one of the booths to feel extra cozy/private. Everything we got was very fresh, the lettuce wraps appetizer was particularly good. Food came out at a good pace and they kept our water glasses filled. Next time I would probably skip the crab rangoons, the ratio of crust to filling was off for me. The walnut shrimp was also not my favorite, because I prefer a crunchier coating (similar to their orange chicken) however if you like shrimp these were huge! ”

“ Loved: friendly, quick and attentive service (someone even brought out a vacuum, wow!), how fresh everything was, large portions. They even boxed up my leftovers- can't remember the last time any restaurant did that! Pork was seasoned really well. Potstickers were perfectly crispy. Seems very efficient- it was bustling with people at 5:30 pm, but it wasn't chaotic. Room for improvement: the peanut sauce with the spring rolls tasted just like melted peanut butter and was missing a spicy, sweet, or other savory element. There were also a TON of vermicelli noodles in the bún bowl- could have used more carrots and cucumbers for balance. ”

“ Service, ambiance, food, all of it was amazing! the waiters checked up on us regularly and provided great service. We ordered the egg rolls to start and the portion was a lot more than we expected! Almost got full off of that I got the La Cai house noodles, and that was the perf thing for the cold season. Soup was sliiightly too sweet for me, but nothing like a few lime slices can't fix! We also got the yang chow fried rice and bo luc lac! Both soooo good! At the end, we had so much leftovers cos we tend to eat with our eyes (LOL).. the waiters helped us pack up our food in to-do containers. if you're looking for some good Chinese/viet food in SLC - this is the spot! ”

“ I arrived at 12:30 on a Wednesday and was pretty upset to find that parking there is awful. I had to park 1/3 mile away and walk. Turns out the food was so good I wasn't even mad about it anymore a couple bites in! The parking lot is horrendous and all the other businesses nearby have to ban La Cai patrons because the restaurant is so dang popular and for good reason! Super attentive wait staff. Quick service. My friend loved his pho. I enjoyed ever soft savory bite of my chow fun. Glad I went! ”
